What does the name of your company mean to you?
Lorraine McCune was my grandmother, and Lorraine is also my middle name. My grandma is who always inspired me to be a good, organized hostess. This passion then translated to the larger scale of managing events.
What is your experience in the event industry?
I have always known that having my own company and providing top of the line event services was my goal. After going to UC San Diego and testing out some more "conventional career paths" (i.e. teaching and law school), I finally woke up and realized I should stick with what I am good at and pursue my dream. While in San Diego I pursued my Meeting and Event Planning Certificate and eventually landed a job with one of the top event venues in Southern California.
